17th Teej Festival to promote women entrepreneurship

Mahila Srijansilta Kendra will be organizing the 17th Teej Festival and Trade Fair in coordination with Udhyami Nepal from August 23 to August 25 at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu. The fair mainly aims to promote the products of Nepali female entrepreneurs.

Udhyami Nepal has already raised a separate pavilion which will display the products of youth, women, and social entrepreneurs during the event. The event is estimated to feature more than 200 stalls, and the organizers are hopeful to see more than 100,000 visiting the stalls during the event. 


The press release also mentioned that interaction programs would be organized, on all three days of the event, to discuss the roles of governmental and non-governmental organizations, financial institutions, and social entrepreneurs in promoting women entrepreneurship.
