KATHMANDU, Oct 21: At least 24 Nepali children who were stranded in Ghaziabad of India have been rescued and brought back home.
Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi and KI Nepal, a non-government organization, facilitated their repatriation, according to Hari Odari, the embassy spokesperson.

Those rescued children are from Madhyabindu Municipality, Nawalpur and Hupsekot Rural Municipality of Nawalparasi.
The children aged between 14 and 18 years were rescued with the help of Indian police in Uttar Pradesh. The children have been handed over to their guardian on Tuesday. According to local officials, four persons who allegedly took the children to India have been apprehended.
Earlier, the children were trafficked to India promising good jobs in foreign countries.
