26 contestants selected for Miss Nepal Peace

A first-round selection of ‘Miss Nepal Peace 2019’ was organized at Next Model Nepal’s Head office in Teku. 100 people selected from the audition participated in the event.

 A first-round selection of ‘Miss Nepal Peace 2019’ was organized at Next Model Nepal’s Head office in Teku. 100 people selected from the audition participated in the event.


26 out of the 100 contestants made their way to next round. Choreographer Rojin Shakya, Miss Nepal Peace 2017 Sanam Thapa Magar, and CEO of Nepal Next Model Ravi Dhamala were the jury of the event.

According to the press statement issued by Nepal Next Model, this is the only beauty pageant in the medical field, which is being organized with the theme ‘Empowered Women Strong Nation’.  The pageant is being organized for the past six years with an aim to promote the work of a nurse.


Participants selected in the first round edition will head to training soon. Managing Director of Nepal Next Model, Yatana Pandey informed that the training participants will have to go through various sessions including communication skills, motivation speech, career counseling and, public speaking.


According to the organizer's finale of the pageant is scheduled to be held on April 20 at the premises of Soaltee Crowne Plaza. Apart from the main title, participants will compete for over 20 other titles. Similarly, the title winner of the competition will bag a cash prize of   Rs 100,000 and scholarship opportunities.
