41 Nepali students win awards from CIE

KATHMANDU, April 7: Forty-one Nepali students received the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, granted by the British Council, Nepal amidst a function at Hotel Yak and Yeti on Friday.

KATHMANDU, April 7: Forty-one Nepali students received the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards, granted by the British Council, Nepal amidst a function at Hotel Yak and Yeti on Friday.


According to a press statement issued by the British Council, the Nepali students have won awards from Cambridge International Examinations for their exceptional performance in the Cambridge Exam Series held in June and November 2016. The award is provided for courses in Cambridge International AS and A level subjects.

Ruchira Ghosh, regional director of Cambridge International Examinations, South Asia, and Jim O'Neill, country examinations manager of the British Council, Nepal attended the ceremony, reads the press statement. 


The statement further added that the British Council awarded the prestigious 'Top in World' award for Cambridge International AS Level Language and Literature in English to one Nepali student this year.
