48 Indian nationals, 3 Nepalis held for 'flesh trade'

BIRGUNJ, Aug 30: Police have arrested as many as 48 Indian nationals and three Nepalis for their involvement in illegal 'flesh trade' from Parsa district.


Police arrested them following complaints by the locals that illegal activities were taking place at liquor outlets based in Inaruwa.

According to SP Rajbabu Shrestha, Chief of District Police Office, Parsa, police arrested Indian and Nepali women on Monday evening following complaints that they had been running flesh trade under the cover of liquor outlets.


Shrestha said they are investigating into the case after taking the arrested into custody.
