KATHMANDU, March 20: A total of 50 mountaineers have taken permits to ascend Himalayan peaks in the spring season.
The government will be generating royalties worth Rs 12.90 million from mountaineering during the spring season. Out of the total number, 34 are looking to summit Annapurna Peak.

Likewise, six have received permits to climb Goldumba Peak (6,620 m), five have taken permits for Thorang Peak (6,144 m) and three individuals will be climbing Manaslu (8,163 m), while two will be climbing Surma Sarobar (6,523 m).
