RUKUM, Nov 25: Seven people including newly married couple were killed in a jeep accident in Musikot municipality-6 in the district  on Friday night.

 RUKUM, Nov 25: Seven people including newly married couple were killed in a jeep accident in Musikot municipality-6 in the district  on Friday night. 


The deceased have been identified as Janak Sahi, Sudarshan Shrestha, Sher Bahadur Shrestha, Surekha Shah of Musikot municipality-1, Yamuna Malla of Tribeni rural municipality-1 and Police Inspector Nabin Shrestha and his wife Police Inspector Anita Pradhan Shrestha of Rukumkot.

Similarly, driver Prem Siujali Thapa of Tulsipur Sub metropolitan City-16, assistant driver Prem KC of Banfikot rural municipality and Tek Bahadur Khatri of Bardiya have been injured critically. 


They have been referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment, DSP Rajendra Prasad Dhamala told Republica Online. Dhamala said they are investigating the cause of the accident. 


Victim Police Inspector was a staff at the Traffic Police Office in Surkhet, according to  DSP Dhamala.
