7th HIMALAYAN OUTDOOR FESTIVAL FROM SATURDAY

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: The seventh edition of Himalayan Outdoor Festival is all set to commence from February 16 to 18. The three-day outdoor festival will entail different adventure sports, music and promote Himalayan lifestyle.

KATHMANDU, Feb 13: The seventh edition of Himalayan Outdoor Festival is all set to commence from February 16 to 18. The three-day outdoor festival will entail different adventure sports, music and promote Himalayan lifestyle.


Organizing a press meet on Sunday, representatives of Himalayan Outdoor Festival Pvt Ltd briefed about the sports, courses and motive of the event. According to the organizers, the event will have three main sports — trail running, rock climbing and mountain biking along with other events like slack line, mini-ziplines, pump track and horizontal bungee among others. All the events will be held at Hattiban Hills, Pharping.

“This edition of HOF will once again embrace and encourage the outdoor, athletic lifestyle in Nepal,” said Media Coordinator of HOF, Anshu Pandey. Interested candidates can now register, informed Pandey adding that forms were available at Basecamp, Jhamsikhel, The North Face Showroom, Thamel and online.


Half of the revenue generated from registration for Night Run will be donated to a running club in Sindhupalchowk and the other half will be used to raise funds for World Bicycle Forum, 2018 to be held in Peru, the organizers added.
