8 Nepali found COVID-19 infected in UAE

UAE, April 1: The number of Nepalese infected from coronavirus disease in the United Arab Emirates has climbed to eight, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE.

UAE, April 1: The number of Nepali infected from coronavirus disease in the United Arab Emirates has climbed to eight, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention, UAE.


UAE’s Health Ministry said that 53 new positive cases were confirmed along with 2 Nepali nationals on Tuesday.

Earlier, UAE had confirmed two positive cases of Nepalis on March 9. Similarly, two more Nepalis had tested positive on March 28.


According to Nepal’s Embassy in UAE, two of them had recovered and the other 6 are in isolation. The embassy urged the Nepalis in the UAE to take safety measures and strictly follow the rules enforced by the local administration.


As of today, a total of 464 persons have been infected to this deadly virus in the UAE while 6 lost their lives.
