JUMLA, Dec 25: A fire broke out at a school in Jumla in the wee hours today.

JUMLA, Dec 25: A fire broke out at a school in Jumla in the wee hours today.


The police said that the fire broke out in the building of Himshikhar Secondary School located in Jermi, Tatopani Rural Municipality-2, Jumla. According to the police, the fire broke out at 3:30 am on Sunday morning.

The fire engulfed the one-storied building with six rooms. According to the police, the fire was brought under control with the help of the locals. Out of the six rooms, four were damaged due to the fire. No human casualties have been reported so far.
