KATHMANDU, July 7: Film actor Saruk Tamrakar was found dead at his house in Ratopul, Kathmandu.
According to SP Sitaram Rijal at the Kathmandu Police Range, Tamrakar was found hanging in his room around 11 pm on Thursday.

The 31-year-old actor was found suspended from a plastic pipe on the railing of the staircase within his house. Authorities promptly initiated an investigation into the incident, and the body was subsequently transported to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination.
While the exact motive behind Tamrakar's suicide remains undisclosed, Spokesperson Rijal confirmed that investigations are underway to shed light on the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
Tamrakar made his debut in the film industry with the movie 'Rani' and had notable appearances in 'Meri Mamu' and 'Intu Mintu London'. He had recently been actively engaged in the shooting of the film 'Hashtag Maya', which is approximately 45 percent complete till date.
Born into a family with a strong acting legacy, Tamrakar was the son of renowned actor Sanu Tamrakar. He had followed in his father's footsteps, passionately pursuing a career in film acting.
