KATHMANDU, Nov 7: The match between Nepal and Kuwait under the second round of Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be not held at Dasharath Stadium following the objection of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
According to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Nepal and Kuwait will play at a neutral venue after AFC’s instruction to host the match in a different venue. The AFC has pointed out that Dasharath Stadium does not meet the international standards to host such big football tournaments.
