Airport staff have started breaking even coffins: MP Dhakal

KATHMANDU, April 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Hari Dhakal has said that corruption at the Tribhuvan International Airport has crossed all limits.


Speaking in the House of Representatives on Thursday, Dhakal claimed that the airport staff have started breaking apart the suitcases of the passengers as well as the coffins carrying dead bodies.

“Coffins carrying dead bodies brought from abroad have also been smashed at the airport. The employees are doing that to rob the dead of their jewelry and important items,” he said, “Seeing that even coffins were broken, it has become clear how deep the roots of corruption are.”


He said that the airport and public schools are the face of the country and mentioned that corruption has taken root everywhere.
