All-party meeting being held to start vote counting in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Nov 21: An all-party meeting has been called before the counting of votes in all the three constituencies in Chitwan. Although preparations were made to hold an all-party meeting in Chitwan after 8AM to start the counting of votes, the meeting has not yet started, according to Ritendra Thapa, Head of the Office of the Chief Electoral Office.

CHITWAN, Nov 21: An all-party meeting has been called before the counting of votes in all the three constituencies in Chitwan. Although preparations were made to hold an all-party meeting in Chitwan after 8AM to start the counting of votes, the meeting has not yet started, according to Ritendra Thapa, Head of the Office of the Chief Electoral Office.


According to the information received from the Chief Electoral Officer's office, an all-party meeting will be held for constituency 1 and 2 at 8am and constituency 3 at 9am.

The election officer's office has clarified that the counting of votes has not started, stating that the details that have been reported in some media and social networks sites as updates on the counting of votes for Chitwan-2 are false information.


The EC has also requested not to spread false information. After the number of votes was published in some media saying that Ravi Lamichhane was leading in the vote counting, the District Election Office said that the counting has not yet started. All ballot boxes have been transported to the vote counting stations on Sunday night.
