Nepali envoy Upadhyay meets with Indian minister

KATHMANDU, March 24: Issuing a press release on Thursday, Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi has informed that Ambassador Of Nepal to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay met with Indian minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy and Mines on Thursday.

The issues discussed at the meeting include supply of additional power through newly completed Kusaha-Kataiya and Parwanipur-Raxaul transmission lines, review of power tariff and other matters related to Nepal-India cooperation in power sector, according to the press release.


Upadhyay was accompanied by other officials at the Embassy of Nepal, New Delhi.
