Shooting schedules might be going haywire thanks to the Omicron wave that has hit the country. But Ameesha Patel certainly has some lovely memories from her last shoot to reminiscence at home. The actress is set to comeback as Sakeena on screen in a sequel to her hit film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha that stars Sunny Deol. She came back to Mumbai after shooting for a “grilling” schedule with director Anil Sharma in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.

Ameesha has fond memories of working with Sunny there who she shares a good bond. The duo has also earlier worked together in films like Teesri Aankh: The Hidden Camera (2006) and Bhaiaji Superhit (2018). Ameesha says that whenever she has any complains she rushes to her co-star for a solution. Remembering the fun memory from the shoot she shares, “He is extremely helpful and supportive on set, so much that every time I have any complaints I just go to him. I feel like a complaint box and feel sorry for him for addressing this side of me (Laughs).”
The actress is also excited to team up with Sharma again, who also directed her in the original. She says, “I am also very happy to collaborate with the director who is very open-minded and open to suggestions. It’s a homely environment on set.”
Excited to be a part of the project, that won her immense fame, Ameesha had earlier told BT, “I have had the most surreal experience living the dream once again. It is a beautiful script and I am working hard on it. The entire team is the same and so it feels like coming home to family.”
