KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The Armed Police have seized about 30 kg of marijuana from the border area of Aurhi Rural Municipality-1 of Siraha District today. The marijuana, which was being smuggled from Nepal to India was seized by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Border Out Post Bariyarpatti.

Earlier on Friday, Armed Police Force personnel had seized about 40 kg of marijuana from Koshi embankment in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-11 of Saptari district. The Armed Police Force, Nepal Border Out Post, Bursain, recovered the illegal drug on the basis of special information that it was hidden in a straw hut there.
