KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Police seized two kilograms of gold from Nagdhunga in Kathmandu, leading to the arrest of three individuals on Friday.
SSP Somendra Singh Rathore stated that the Valley Crime Investigation Office in Kathmandu retrieved two kilograms of gold from Nagdhunga. The gold was reportedly being smuggled from the Rasuwagadhi border point to Kathmandu.

SSP Rathore mentioned that the team, acting on a special tip-off, confiscated the gold and arrested three individuals. The names of those arrested have not been disclosed.
In another incident, 14 kilograms of gold from Dubai was seized at the Tribhuvan International Airport last night.
Likewise, the Valley Crime Investigation Office had conducted a raid on a gold shop in New Road two days ago, recovering nearly eight kilograms of illegal gold.
