APF toils hard for win

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Armed Police Force (APF) has registered hard fought victory over Eastern Region in the ongoing Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) 2nd National Men's Volleyball Tournament on Monday. In the match played at Army's Physical Fitness and Sports Training Center, the APF had won first two sets 25-17, 25-13 but third set wasn't easy as it was stretched to 31-29 in favor of the departmental side.

KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Armed Police Force (APF) has registered hard fought victory over Eastern Region in the ongoing Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) 2nd National Men's Volleyball Tournament on Monday. In the match played at Army's Physical Fitness and Sports Training Center, the APF had won first two sets 25-17, 25-13 but third set wasn't easy as it was stretched to 31-29 in favor of the departmental side. 



In other matches played on the day, defending champion Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Western Region also emerged victorious. 



Host team Army overcame the challenge of Central Region 25-12, 25-15, 25-18 while Police defeated Far-Western Region 25-11, 25-14, 25-13. Similarly in the last match of the day, Western Region beat Mid-Western Rgion 25-19, 25-18, 25-16.
