Meanwhile, the main opposition party Nepali Congress has objected to the government’s decision to reshuffling the governors of all the seven provinces.

On the occasion, Poudel informed that concerned district election officers and chief district officers have been assigned to take necessary action against those violating election codes.

Earlier, President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday removed the governors of all seven provinces following a recommendation for the same from the Cabinet.

A day after sacking the governors of all seven provinces appointed by the previous Nepali Congress government, President Bidya Bhandari had appointed new governors in all the provinces as per the recommendation of the government on Monday evening.

At a special function at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas, this morning, President Bhandari also administered oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed governors, namely Somnath Adhikari 'Pyasi' (State-1), Tilak Pariyar (State-2), Bishnu Prasad Prasain (State-3), Amik Sherchan (Gandaki State), Dharmanath Yadav (State-5), Govinda Prasad Kalauni (Karnali State) and Sharmeela Kumari Pant (Sudurpaschim State).
