KATHMANDU, Aug 28: A 12-member delegation led by Attorney General of Nepal Agni Kharel is currently paying a seven-day visit to India.
The objective of the visit is to study the relationship between the Central and State judicial systems in India, including the relationship between Attorney General of India and the Advocates General of the States, according to a press release issued by Indian Embassy in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The delegation is comprised of senior attorneys from both the federal and seven provincial governments.

As part of the tour, the delegation visited the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and attended a one-day workshop at Indian Law Institute in New Delhi. The delegation has reached Gujarat today.
The Nepali delegation is scheduled to interact with the Advocate General of Gujarat, visit High Court of Gujarat and attend a one-day workshop at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) in Gandhinagar.
Attorney General Kharel held a meeting with his Indian counterpart yesterday and discussed issues of mutual interest, according to the embassy. Senior attorneys from the seven provinces are members of the Kharel-led delegation.
