Aung San Suu Kyi returns home

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi returned home on Sunday after participating in the Asia Pacific Summit 2018 organized in Kathmandu by Universal Peace Federation.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi returned home on Sunday after concluding her four-day visit to Nepal. 


Suu Kyi, who visited Nepal at the invitation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari during her stay.

Suu Kyi also held bilateral talks with Prime Minister Oli.


Apart from her official engagements, Suu Kyi also participated and addressed the inaugural session of the Asia Pacific Summit 2018 on Saturday, which was organized by the Universal Peace Federation. 


Meanwhile, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen returned home on Saturday evening. The foreign dignitaries, who took part in the summit, are scheduled to return home on Sunday and Monday, according to the organizer.
