Ayush Shrestha, 20, has won the title of Himalaya Roadies Season 2 ‘Wild Wild West’. He has managed to bag the title of the winner by outperforming other finalists: Tejaswi Basnet (24) and Pribir Ghale (24). Shrestha got Yamaha FZ 25 bike, and the cash prize of Rs 1,090,000.
The ‘adventure reality show’ that aired every Monday via Himalaya Television, selected 13 applicants from thousands of applicants auditioned in five major cities of Nepal: Itahari, Chitwan, Butwal, Pokhara and Kathmandu as per the press statement released by the production team.

Himalaya Roadies is a widely known game reality show issued under the franchise of Viacom 18. With last season’s grand success Yamaha FZ remained the title sponsor for a second, consecutive year. This season was themed ‘Wild Wild West’. As per the theme, the show was filmed in the less-explored, yet enormously exotic places of the far west. Different tasks were also conducted simultaneously. The filming was done at various places in the far west including Shuklaphata National Park, Bardiya National Park, Banke National Park. and prominent cities like Nepalgunj, Mahendranagar, Kohalpur, and Tikapur. Subsequently, to end of the season, the Grand Finale was filmed in Hattiban Community Forest, in Kathmandu, with all three finalists performing the Grand Finale Task.
Out of the total amount of Rs two million, as per the format of the program and the money tasks to be performed in the journey, the contestants were able to win and assemble the total amount of Rs 1,090,000 was awarded to the winner.
The press statement added that Himalayan Rodies is a show that examines the physical, mental, political and social skills, abilities, knowledge and wisdom of the participants.
Like in the previous season, the judges for this season were Raymon Das Shrestha, Deeya Maskey and Aasis Rana aka. Laure. The winners of the first season, Saman Shrestha and Animesh Shahi were the presenters of the program for this season. Aman Pratap Adhikary directed the show.
