KATHMANDU, March 16: Shalikram Jamakattel, the chief minister (CM) of the Bagmati Province, is going to seek a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly on March 22.
Chief Secretary of the Province Assembly Secretariat Krishna Hari Khadka said that the Provincial Assembly Secretariat has called a meeting for that purpose at 3:00 p.m.

A few weeks ago, the RPP decided to recall three of its ministers who were part of the government and withdraw their support to the government. After that, the current government was reduced to a minority.
When the Bagmati Cabinet was formed on January 10, a joint coalition of CPN- UML, CPN (Maoist Center) and RPP was formed. The current Cabinet of the Bagmati Province Government has only ministers from the Maoist Center and UML.
