KATHMANDU, March 15: A 16-member expedition team of Bahraini royal family has arrived in Nepal to ascend the world’s highest Mount Everest.
The team led by Bahraini Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum arrived in Nepal via a special military flight of the Bahrain Defence Force, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Bahrain.

The Everest Team, comprising 13 Bahraini and 3 British nationals, will stay in Nepal for 50 days.
The team is also scheduled to distribute 2,000 doses of vaccines against the COVID-19 to the locals of Chumnubri Rural Municipality-1 in Gorkha district, during its stay in Nepal.
The team had also scaled Mt Manaslu and Mt Lobuche in October last year.
