KATHMANDU, Oct 7: Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, in collaboration with Bangladesh-Nepal Friendship Society (Bangladesh), organized 'Bangladesh-Nepal Friendship Fine Arts Exhibition 2018' – an exhibition of painting and photography.
The artworks of 14 Bangladeshi and five Nepali artists and photographers are on display at Park Gallery, Pulchowk, since Tuesday.
Month-long installation art exhibition at NAFA
The objective of the fine art exhibition and workshop is to present a comprehensive collection of fine arts creations in front of the viewers of two countries.
In the exhibition, the artists and the photographers have used everyday life, nature, and religion as their major motif for their painting and photographs.
A painting by Bangladeshi artist Ranjit Das shows the innocence and beauty of an adolescent girl in a set of three paintings. The composition is an acrylic based artwork. All three girls, portrayed in the painting, are shown to be engaged in their mundane chores.
The week-long exhibition is being organized to boost the bonds of friendship between Nepal and Bangladesh, states the press release.
