Beema Training Institute established for insurance literacy

KATHMANDU, July 24: Beema Samiti on Sunday announced the establishment of Beema Training Institute that aims to provide insurance literacy to stakeholders. The institute, opened in partnership with insurance companies, has a paid-up capital of Rs 10 million.

KATHMANDU, July 24: Beema Samiti on Sunday announced the establishment of Beema Training Institute that aims to provide insurance literacy to stakeholders. The institute, opened in partnership with insurance companies, has a paid-up capital of Rs 10 million. According to a statement issued by the Samiti on Sunday, the institute has been established considering the need of professional insurance education. The institute will begin its operation by running 18-day training to 22 newly-recruited staff members of the Samiti. The institute will work on a variety of insurance training activities, including development of courses for professionalization of the country's insurance sector. The institute will also focus on reaching out to interested students, corporate employees and the public. Likewise, it will also run talk programs with national and international experts, according to the statement.
