Beni begins implementation of ‘pride projects’ worth Rs 90 million

MYAGDI, Dec 7: Beni Municipality has started implementing pride projects for which the government budget amounting to Rs 90 million was appropriated in the current fiscal year 2022/23.

MYAGDI, Dec 7: Beni Municipality has started implementing pride projects for which the government budget amounting to Rs 90 million was appropriated in the current fiscal year 2022/23.


Taking into consideration the importance and priority, the municipality had set aside a total budget of Rs 90.01 million for five road projects, three drinking water projects, a building construction project, a sports ground construction project and a chilling center construction project.

Chief of the municipality's infrastructure section engineer Bimal Ranjan Karki said contracts have been signed for seven projects.


"Construction works of two projects have already started after contract signing while preparation is underway to implement the other five projects," he said. Likewise, a contract has been solicited for three projects. “We are making preparations to initiate the contract process for a project after finalizing its estimated cost,” he added.
