Federal government to implement projects of Rs 30 million and above through budget

NUWAKOT, Jan 16: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the federal government will implement the projects worth more than Rs 30 million from the upcoming fiscal year (FY).

NUWAKOT, Jan 16: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the federal government will implement the projects worth more than Rs 30 million from the upcoming fiscal year (FY).


Addressing an event organized at Sherabagar of Shivapuri Rural Municipality in Nuwakot on Monday, the finance minister said new rules have been made for the implementation of the projects from the federal and provincial governments, adding that the provincial governments will implement projects of Rs 10 million plus through their budgets.

Minister Mahat also said that the three layers of government were working proactively in view of the people's demands, concerns and challenges.


Minister Mahat said that coordination among the three tiers of government would be prioritized in project implementation.
