Bensisahar-Chame road obstructed due to landslide

LAMJUNG, July 31: A landslide that occurred at Kharkhare cliff of Bensisahar Municipality-6 in Lamjung district this morning has caused vehicular obstruction along the Bensisahar-Chame road section, the District Police Office said.

LAMJUNG, July 31: A landslide that occurred at Kharkhare cliff of Bensisahar Municipality-6 in Lamjung district this morning has caused vehicular obstruction along the Bensisahar-Chame road section, the District Police Office said. 


A heavy rain occurring in the district since last night resulted in landslides in the area.

Police Inspector Thaneshwor Chapain said that the Kharkhare area is a landslide-prone zone.


People travelling to and from Manang and northern belt of Lamjung have been affected from the vehicular obstruction.
