TANAHUN, July 24: The Bhanu road, named after Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya, has not been completed even after 33 years of starting the construction.

Kuber Khanal, a local, lamented that despite repeatedly approaching the local, provincial and federal governments for road improvement, it is yet to be materialized.
Ward chair of Bhanu Municipality-13, Krishna Bahadur Adhikari, said the budget allocated for upgrading the road was very little and the contractor did not work on time.
He lamented the sheer ignorance in completing the work. The contract was awarded for upgrading the road eight years ago at a cost of over Rs 230 million but the work has not been completed, he complained.
