Bhattarai named as chief registrar of Supreme Court

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on Wednesday decided to promote Rajan Bhattarai, the secretary of Judicial Council, to the post of chief registrar of the Supreme Court.

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) on Wednesday decided to promote Rajan Bhattarai, the secretary of Judicial Council, to the post of chief registrar of the Supreme Court.

The position was lying vacant for the past few days after then chief registrar Nahakul Subedi was appointed as chief judge of the Tulsipur High Court. 


The JSC also promoted joint secretary Krishnajivi Ghimire for the post of secretary of the Commission for Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons (CIEDP) and transferred the secretary of CEIDP Nripa Dhwaj Niraula to the Judicial Council as its secretary .
