BAJURA, April 30: Ten people including the district in-charge of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) for Bajura, Bhupendra BK, have been arrested by police.
A police squad led by District Police Office, Bajura’s Deputy Superintendent of Police, Uddab Singh Bhatta arrested them this morning. Other arrestees are party’s district secretary Bharat Thapa, Women Association Revolutionary central member Pabitra BK and district committee member Angaraj Bhandari.

Party-aligned student committee’s members Gorakh Rokaya, Samiksha BK, Sushila BK, Susmita BK, Keshatar BK, and Prem Thapa have also been arrested. Police seized a number of explosive substances and slips of donation collection from them. The arrests follow the government’s March 12 decision to ban the party’s activities, bearing in mind its violent activities.
