KATHMANDU, Oct 18: Biratnagar Titans defeated Pokhara Paltan by 6 wickets in a match played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur in the capital to create its two consecutive wins at the ongoing Women’s Champions League.
In the match played on Friday, Titans comfortably reached the target of 95 runs set by Paltan in just 15 overs losing only 4 wickets. Laxmi Chaudhary scored 23 and Jyoti 22 runs to provide a strong foundation to the victory. Similarly, Ashmina Karmacharya’s unbeaten 16 runs and Doli Bhatta’s 12 runs guided Titans to a comfortable win.

Pokhara Paltan with this second loss is struggling to bring momentum in the tournament.
Five teams from different cities have been participating in the tournament that kicked off on Wednesday. The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 0.7 million.
