Blood Cancer Society Nepal conducts charity event for blood cancer patients on Cancer Day

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Blood Cancer Society organized a charity event to raise funds for supporting blood cancer patients with the tagline of “Another Chance – Every life deserves” on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Utpala Cafe.

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, the Blood Cancer Society organized a charity event to raise funds for supporting blood cancer patients with the tagline of “Another Chance – Every life deserves” on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Utpala Cafe.


It is said that the charity program organized to support blood cancer patients will help those who started treatment but could not follow up due to lack of finances.

The event included Musical performances, Poems reciting, Stand up comedies along with interesting indoor games and lucky draws for the audiences with a bumper prize of a mountain flight ticket for one of our lucky winners. Prominent figures including Actor Surakshya Panta, famous singers and music composer, leading Entrepreneurs of Nepal Sanjog Koirala, and Comedy Artist Jibesh Singh Gurung participated in the event.


Lions and Leo Club of Kathmandu Sunshine participated in the program as a volunteer organized under the management of Aakar Events. Various colleges, air service providers, and others also supported the fundraising program.


Blood Cancer Society Nepal's core team has been providing support to more than 2,000 patients emotionally and help in their treatment.
