Blood testing program organized on occasion of World Hepatitis Day in capital

KATHMANDU, July 30: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and SRL Diagnosis Pvt Ltd have jointly organized two-day blood testing program in the capital on Tuesday on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day with a view to creating awareness among people about hepatitis.

KATHMANDU, July 30: Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and SRL Diagnosis Pvt Ltd have jointly organized two-day blood testing program in the capital on Tuesday on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day with a view to creating awareness among people about hepatitis.


The program involves conducting basic blood tests as HBsAg-Rapid Screen Text, Thyroid Profile Test(T3,T4,Ts) and Sugar -Random_, informed NCC director Kiran Adhikari.

NCC Officials, staffs, members of other organizations entrepreneurs, and locals of Kantipath  and Thamel got their blood tested on the occasion today.


The second phase of the blood testing program is scheduled to begin at 1 pm on Wednesday. It will continue until 5 pm.


Education and Sports Committee under the NCC took the initiative in organizing the program. Speaking on the occasion, Dipak Kaji Tuladhar , the chairperson of the committee, said that the NCC has been organizing such a program for the last few years. He added that the program organized on Tuesday  was  the latest in the series.
