KATHMANDU, July 24: In Kachankawal Rural Municipality-5 of Jhapa, three teenage girls were found dead, hanging from the same tree on Sunday morning. Three teenage girls working in Sunkoshi Tea Garden were found hanging from the same tree.
Locals said that their bodies were found hanging from a plum tree on the bank of the Jing River in Sunkoshi Tea Garden in the local Belle village.

According to the police, the deceased are Karina, the 16-year-old daughter of local Pancham Ganesh, Anjali, the 17-year-old daughter of Puwalu Ganesh, and Kalpana, the 16-year-old daughter of Birwal Ganesh.
They had been missing since yesterday afternoon and were found hanging around 7:30 this morning. The police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
