Bomb defused planted near Bajura District Police Office

BAJURA Mar 9: A socket bomb has been defused by a Nepal Army bomb disposal team which had been planted near the District Police office, Bajura.

BAJURA Mar 9: A socket bomb has been defused by a Nepal Army bomb disposal team which had been planted near the District Police office, Bajura.


The bomb had been planted at the farm of Moti Ukheda in Badimalika municipality-9 - a 100-meter away from DPO, Bajura. The police have reported that the bomb was planted during the insurgency period.

Hari Bahadur Oli, DSP of Bajura said, “The bomb has been defused by a bomb disposal team led by Samarjeet Company.  


A farmer found the bomb wrapped in a plastic bag while he was digging the field on Friday.  Nepal Army had set up a barrack in that location during the insurgency period.
