Bringing all sides into political mainstream must: Minister Thapa

KATHMANDU, Sept 2:  Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has said that bringing all agitating sides into the mainstream of the politics was the need of the hour.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2:  Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' has said that bringing all agitating sides into the mainstream of the politics was the need of the hour. 



During the meeting with a high-level talks team formed under the coordination of lawmaker Som Prasad Pandey at the Home ministry on Sunday, Home Minister Thapa urged the talks team to hold a discussion in order to bring all the sides into the mainstream of politics. 



The Cabinet meeting held on August 25 had formed a high-level talks team under the coordination of lawmaker Pandey to hold dialogue with various groups still launching the agitation, study past agreements and make necessary recommendation to the government. 


Suresh Ale Magar, Tara Kanta Chaudhary, and Lila Bhandari, among others, are the members of the talks team.

Saying peace, stability and good governance were the need of the hour, the Home Minister asked the members of the talks team to hold the discussion with the agitating sides for the same. 



He further said that the Ministry would provide all support to the talks team for discussion with the agitating sides. 



Coordinator Pandey briefed the meeting about the initiatives taken for the discussion with the agitating sides. RSS
