ITAHARI, July 2: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has unveiled the bust of former NC president late Girija Prasad Koirala here today. The bust was installed at the district party office premises.
Speaking in the program, leader Poudel urged all to concentrate on economic development of the nation as the country had got the new constitution.
He opined for making the country economically prosperous urging not to involve in the game of toppling and forming government. He committed to move ahead saying that the NC was led by veteran leaders like BP and GP Koirala in the past, however, such party was seemed little bit reluctant at this moment.
Leader Poudel also said that the NC should take the leadership to make concrete decision after identifying the burning problems.
Similarly, NC leader Sujata Koirala emphasized on institutionalizing various achievements made through different people's movements adding that such movement was led by GP Koirala and doing so would be the real tribute to him.
She stressed on unity among the political parties for the national prosperity as it was the dream of late GP Koirala.
Likewise, NC central member Dr Minedra Rijal said that the late leader Koirala had the serious responsibility to the nation that smoothed the political courses ahead issuing republic constitution.
Similarly, NC central member Min Bishwakarma and Sarita Prasain had also addressed the program.
