KATHMANDU, April 8: The list of candidates for the by-elections scheduled for April 27 will be announced today.
As per the election timetable, Sunday was designated for addressing complaints regarding the registrations made on Saturday.

Following the scrutiny of complaints received during this period, the election office will release the list of candidates today between 5PM and 6PM.
Candidates have until tomorrow from 9AM to 1PM to withdraw their candidature.
Subsequently, the Election Commission will finalize the list of candidates and allocate election symbols tomorrow.
Voting is scheduled for April 27, from 7AM to 5PM.
The by-elections are slated for Ilam Constituency-2 and Bajhang Constituency-1 (A).
