Calling for photographers

Film Development Board, Nepal in association with Nepal Tourism Board is publishing location guide book with photos for the cinema tourism under fiscal year 2019/20. The book will be published under ‘Nepal for Cinematography’ campaign.


The film board has asked people to submit the photos/videos of the places that can attract tourists, for the publication of the book. One can send pictures of the unnoticed shooting spots that include mountains, hills, plains, lake, forests, wildlife and people’s dwellings followed by cultural and traditional places.

It is not mandatory to click to photographs with a DSLR camera. According to the press statement released by Film Development Board, it also accepts the photos and videos taken from a cell phone. It added if the photographs are selected then the board will also give remunerations and incentives to the photographers.


To take part in the campaign, one can upload pictures/videos to www.film.gov.np/locationhunt after logging in. The deadline for the submission is September 17.
