CAN has outlined specific qualifications for bidders. Companies must be registered with the Office of the Registrar, be VAT-registered, and have a valid tax clearance certificate.

Additionally, foreign bidders are allowed to participate through a joint venture with a Nepali company. Companies with histories of criminal charges, financial fraud, or money laundering are disqualified.

Last year, CAN hosted the Nepal T20 League in collaboration with Indian company Seven3 Sports. The central working committee of CAN, in its meeting on July 5, decided to schedule the NPL for November/December.
