KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Friends and family of the late actor Saruk Tamrakar organized a candlelight vigil and peaceful protest in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu on Saturday, demanding justice in his case.
On July 6, Tamrakar was found dead at his residence in Ratopul, Kathmandu. Earlier that morning, he had completed shooting for the film 'Hashtag Maya,' but by evening, he was discovered lifeless, a shocking incident that sent shockwaves throughout the film industry.

Adding to the family's grief, Tamrakar’s father, Sanu Tamrakar, passed away on August 26, while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital. The loss of his only son, who had already made significant strides in his acting career, deeply affected him, according to family sources.
