LALITPUR, May 11: A car accident occurred in Kupondole, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-10, earlier today.
At 5:30 AM, a car (Ba Pra 01-029 Cha 4282) lost control on the road and collided with an electricity pole.

Although the vehicle sustained damage in the accident, the driver remains unharmed, said police sources.
The car was being driven by Sanjit Joshi from Satdobato, Mahalakshmi Municipality. Joshi has been taken into custody by the police for further questioning.
As a result of the collision, electricity service in the area was disrupted due to the damage inflicted on the pole.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident occurred due to overspeeding, according to the police.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain further details.
