Car knocks down two pedestrians to death in Pokhara

POKHARA, Dec 26: Two pedestrians died in a car collision in Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 5 Prasyang of Kaski.


20-year-old Dhalendra Chantyal of Pokhara Metropolitan City-3 Nadipur and a 35-year-old man died when the car (Ba 13 Cha 3721), which was en route to Zero Kilometers from Baglung Bus Park toward, knocked them in front of Siddhartha Bank around 1:00 last night.

A team of police personnel from Area Police Office, Baidam took them to West Regional Hospital Gandaki for treatment. Doctors declared them dead later.


As the driver of the car is currently on the run, police said a search is currently underway to nab him. The car is under the control of Area Police Office, Baidam
