Truck knocks down two school students to death in Malekhu

MALEKHU (DHADING), Oct 4: A truck has knocked down two school students to death in Gajuri rural municipality-2, Malekhu in Dhading district.

MALEKHU (DHADING), Oct 4: A truck has knocked down two school students to death in Gajuri rural municipality-2, Malekhu in Dhading district.


Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office Shanti Lal Prasad Jaiswal informed that school student duo, Nirmal Shrestha and Sanjeeb Shrestha of Siddhalek rural municipality-6 died on the spot when the truck hit them.


The truck (Province 02-001 B 6413) en route to Chitwan from Kathmandu had knocked the students this morning.

Both the deceased were studying in Grade 8 in Bageshwori Secondary School.


Demanding compensation, the irate locals have obstructed vehicular movement along the Prithvi Highway. 


Police have taken control of the truck driver Ashok Bomjan, 41, of Chandrapur municipality-2 in Rautahat.
