PALPA, June 28: Two people have died apparently due to cardiac arrest while they were lining up for casting their votes in the district.

The deceased are 62-year-old Krishna Kumari Kumal of Baganaskali Rural Municipality-1 and an octogenarian Purna Chandra Bhattarai of ward six of the same municipality, Tilak Paudel, returning officer of Bagnaskali Rural Municipality, told Republica Online.


Despite minor impact on the voting process this morning, it resumed shortly afterwards.
