NEW DELHI, July 15: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has arrived in New Delhi, India. He arrived in New Delhi on Friday afternoon for a three day visit with his personal secretaries, daughter Ganga Dahal and Ramesh Malla, via a Nepal Airlines flight.
Dahal was received by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) foreign affairs chief Bijay Chathaiwale at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Similarly, Nepali Ambassador to India Shankar Sharma, officials of the Nepali Embassy and high officials of the Government of India and representatives of the Nepali community were also present at his reception.

He is on a visit to India at the formal invitation of BJP president JP Nadda. During the visit, Dahal will meet leaders including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Binay Mohan Quatra, Indian Security Adviser Ajit Doval and BJP Chairman JP Nadda. He is scheduled to return home on July 17.
