KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The country has a general influence of the westerly winds as well as the influence of local winds in the hilly terrain, at present. As a result, it has started raining in some parts of the country.
Chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in hilly areas
There is a chance of rain in some parts of the country today. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there will be partial to normal showers in the hill areas this afternoon. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to generally clear weather. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hill areas.
Similarly, today, the weather in the remaining hilly areas will be usually clean. Province 1, Gandaki, and the high hilly and mountainous areas of Karnali Province are likely to receive snowfall.
